Contact us to schedule a tour of the Carter House and bring a few friends or your family along. You’ll enjoy the history of the plantation house and can take a stroll around the lush lawn with abundant southern magnolias, crepe myrtles and massive oaks that provide an old-world ambiance. If you are looking for a place to take that special photograph, the grounds are a perfect setting. If you are looking for an old barn to be in the background, we have one of those too.
We’ll be happy to discuss the plans for your special event and you might be surprised to find out that our rates are very reasonable. We have the perfect place that will make your event a very special event! After all, the Carter House is the only plantation still standing in Livingston Parish!!
