Attached is your invitation to the Christmas Open House at the Historic Carter House being held on Sun., Dec. 1 at 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM. The house will be decorated in past and present holiday décor. Tours will be given so you will learn a little history about the plantation.
Tickets will be sold at the door, $5.00 for adults, children under the age of 12 admitted free, as are HCHS members. Tickets will be entered in a drawing for a door prize with the drawing being held at the end of the Open House. We have a raffle basket and tickets are $5.00/each or 3/$12.00, so buy the 3 for a better deal. The value of the basket is approximately $100.00 and was donated by an HCHS member.
While you are at the open house take the time to become a member, Annual Memberships are $30/individual and $40/family. You can leave your completed form with the HCHS member at the front desk and save a stamp.
